The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the provisional results for the 2025 West African Senior High School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates.
Unfortunately, the results of some candidates have been affected due to exam irregularities. The subject results of 6,295 candidates have been cancelled for bringing foreign materials into the exam halls, while 653 candidates have had their entire results cancelled for possessing mobile phones.
Additionally, some results are being withheld pending investigation, including those of candidates from 185 schools suspected of collusion. WAEC is working to release the withheld WASSCE results by the end of December 2025.
