Lamine Yamal is the youngest player at FC Barcelona and the youngest ever debutant in the Champions League.
Aged 16 years and 68 days old, the number 27 has become the second youngest player to debut in the competition, and the youngest ever to do so in a blaugrana jersey
Lamine Yamal continues to make history, this time in the Champions League. Barça’s number 27 came on as a second half substitute today against Royal Antwerp at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys and became the club’s youngest ever player to feature in Europe’s premier club competition, aged just 16 years and 68 days old.
It also makes him the second youngest player to debut in the UCL for any team, only topped by Youssoufa Moukoko of Borussia Dortmund, who first appeared in the UCL aged 16 years and 18 days old, 50 days younger than Yamal.

Yamal replaces Ansu Fati, whose debut came as a starter against Borussia Dortmund on 17 September 2019 when he was 16 years and 321 days old.
