APPRECIATION
I give utmost praise and gratitude to the Everlasting Father for granting me the opportunity to serve as the 30th VALCO Hall President.
We thank the Hall Management, The Office of the Dean of Students, the Directorate of Finance, Directorate of Internal Audit and the Procurement office for the support.
Also, we are very grateful to the people of VALCO Hall for giving us this great opportunity to serve them as JCRC Executives.
PREAMBLE
The best form of life is a life of service to God and humanity. Thus, when the mandate was given to me to serve as VALCO president for the 2022/2023 academic year, I saw it as an opportunity of service to my hall of affiliation. Being motivated by the spirit of service, I take joy in the sacrifices and effort I made to maintain VALCO as the best among equals. Though my tenure of office was swiftly abrogated, I, together with my colleague executives, did our best possible to serve VALCO.
I was sworn in as JCRC President of VALCO hall on 8th November 2022. By virtue of being President, I was also the Chairman of the Junior Common Room Committee (JCRC) for the 2022/2023 academic year, the Commander-in-Chief of the VALCOBAT Cadet Corps, I also served as the Chief Spokesperson of the JCRC in all matters under my purview, to implement policies and projects of the JCRC and to work in partnership with the management body of VALCO hall and seek guidance and help from them as well.
ACHIEVEMENTS
With the guidance of management, a number of purchases were made, policies and projects were implemented to positively impact the lives of Industrialist. They include the following;
HEALTH;
The JCRC stocked the infirmary with:
1. diagnostic material and medicines to manage MALARIA.
2. prophylaxis to manage menorrhagia, and nutrients supplementation.
3. requisite instruments for Blood pressure, Diabetes and BMI management.
WELFARE;
0. The JCRC Procured 1000 yards of ropes for drying lines.
0. Procured 1600 Lacoste for freshmen.
0. purchased 3 rooms of canopies.
0. Purchased 150 room dustbins.
5. printed over 34,000 exercise books for its affiliates.
6. Purchased 50 pieces of â Bajaj ceilingâ fans.
7. Contributed 20,000gh to the Professor Yankson welfare fund.
ENTERTAINMENT;
The JCRC purchased;
0. 5000W amplifier.
0. Keyboard.
3. 2 mid speakers.
0. A projector.
PUBLICITY;
0. The JCRC has procured a megaphone to help in dissemination of information in the hall.
0. The JCRC has supported the hall with 40,000 Cedis to continue with the tilling project.
LIBRARY;
0. The JCRC has increased Wifi connectivity in the library.
0. The JCRC purchased two marker boards to be used by affiliates for their group studies.
0. The JCRC has improved on the WiFi connections in the hall.
OTHERS;
0. The JCRC has purchased
Iron steamer to be used in the laundry.
0. The JCRC has constructed a fountain behind C block.
0. Celebrated VALCO @ 30.

And remember, there is no higher religion than human service. Believe in yourselves, for if you donât believe in yourselves you will be twice defeated by the race of life.
