According to reports, Mrs. Kufuor, née Mensah, passed away on Sunday, October 1.
From January 7, 2001, to January 6, 2009, she was Ghana’s First Lady.
After her husband succeeded Jerry John Rawlings as President of the Republic of Ghana, she took up the position.
In order to aid in the healthy development of children and stop the spread of diseases from mothers to children, Madam Theresa founded the Mother to Child Community Development Foundation while serving as First Lady.
