The West African Examination Council released an official letter to the general public announcing the release of provisional results for Basic Education Certificate Examination.
In the letter, they made known that candidates can access their results from the councils website (http://www.waecgh.org).
A statistics on the number of students who sat for the examination both private and public school candidates, the number of centres used for the examination. They also added that for some reasons, some candidates will have some or all of their papers cancelled or withheld due to certain alleged malpractices believed to have been indulged hence some investigations are still underway.
They also cautioned the general public on the fraudsters who claim to change results of candidates at a fee. They added that the results are well authenticated and that nothing of such can be done.
