Asamoah Gyan ‘I won’t reject the opportunity to be Bawumia’s running mate if it comes up’.
Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has expressed his openness to the prospect of serving as the running mate to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia if such an offer were extended to him.
Speaking in an interview with Onua TV, Gyan acknowledged the speculation surrounding his potential candidacy but characterized it as mere rumors.
Gyan emphasized the honor associated with such a role, stating, “Honour is something everybody likes,” he said after having a good laugh about the question.
However, Gyan underscored his commitment to contributing to the advancement of sports in the country, irrespective of his potential political involvement.
